Refund Policy

We want you to be confident when you engage Legit Filings. This policy explains when refunds of professional fees are available, and how government fees are treated.

Professional fees

  • If we have not begun work on your engagement, you are eligible for a full refund of professional fees.
  • If work has begun, refunds are pro-rated based on the work completed and resources committed.
  • Once a service is completed and delivered (e.g. a certificate is issued, a return is filed), professional fees are non-refundable.
  • If we determine we cannot proceed with your engagement — for example, your business doesn't qualify for the service requested — you are eligible for a full refund of professional fees paid for that engagement.

Government fees & third-party charges

Government filing fees, stamp duties, certifying-authority charges, and other statutory or third-party charges are paid to the respective authorities on your behalf and are non-refundable once submitted, regardless of the outcome of your application.

Delays not caused by us

Refunds are not available where a delay or rejection is caused by factors outside our control — such as government portal downtime, incomplete or inaccurate documents you provided, or processing timelines set by the relevant authority.

How to request a refund

Email info@legitfilings.com with your name, the service engaged, your payment reference, and the reason for your request. We aim to review and respond to refund requests within 7 working days.

Processing time

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to reflect in your account.
