Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Legit Filings website (legitfilings.com) and any registration, compliance, tax, or advisory service you engage us for. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Who we are
Legit Filings ("we", "us", "our") is a business-compliance service based at J2-119, Third Floor, DDA Flats, Kalkaji, New Delhi – 110019, India.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use our services. If you engage us on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Our services
We provide company/LLP registration, GST and tax filing, ROC and other statutory compliance, licensing, and advisory support. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are confirmed with you — typically over WhatsApp, email, or a consultation call — before we begin work.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents — filings are prepared based on what you share with us.
- Ensure you are authorised to request the services on behalf of your business.
- Review drafts and filings we share with you before they are submitted, where applicable.
- Pay the agreed professional fees and any government or statutory charges on time.
Fees & payment
Professional fees are as quoted to you for your specific engagement; prices shown on the website are starting prices and may vary based on your business's specific facts. Government fees, stamp duty, and other statutory charges are separate from our professional fees and are payable in addition, as applicable to your case.
Government fees & timelines
Government fees, portal availability, and statutory processing times are set by the relevant authority and outside our control. Timelines shown on the website are indicative estimates based on typical processing — actual timelines may vary due to government delays, incomplete documentation, or authority-specific requirements.
Third-party services
Booking a consultation may use a scheduling tool provided by Calendly, and contacting us via WhatsApp takes place on WhatsApp's platform — both are operated by third parties under their own terms, not ours.
Intellectual property
The Legit Filings name, logo, and the content, design, and code of this website belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission. Documents and filings we prepare for you as part of your engagement are yours to use for their intended purpose.
Limitation of liability
We exercise professional care in delivering our services, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome from a government authority. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the professional fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for delays, rejections, or outcomes caused by third parties, government portals, or inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
Termination
Either party may end an engagement before work begins; see our Refund Policy for what happens to fees already paid. We may decline or discontinue an engagement if we reasonably believe it involves inaccurate information, unlawful activity, or a conflict we cannot resolve.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
